Default Rf computer routers

Greetings

I realise this news group is not really the place for this question. But as
amateurs we have a knowledge of rf. So....

My question is this....does anyone know of any websites which discuss rf
routers, from an rf point of view?

For example is the transmitter on the circuit board inside the computer or
laptop. or is it in a separate external box.

Are they using 2.4 ghz and 5.x ghz?

Larry
