Default Ham Radio Deluxe v1.4 (build425b) now available

Hi all,

The Ham Radio Deluxe Development Team is pleased to announce the
release of Ham Radio Deluxe v1.4 (build425b).

This FREEWARE package is available from:

ftp://www.ham-radio.ch/kits/beta/1.4...ion014b425.exe

and

http://www.ham-radio.ch/kits/beta/1....ion014b425.exe

Changes since v1.3:

Macros now applied much faster, very noticable on Yaesu systems.

More IC-7800 support.

PSK31 Deluxe input/output level popups not initialising correctly has
been fixed.

Added sound controls via the Tools/Soundcards menu.

IF Shift for ICOM: 746/746Pro/756Pro/756ProII/R75/7400.

Changed many ICOM sliders to show 0 - 100 instead of 0 - 255.

Made some parts of Mapper faster.

Added Digital-in (S/P DIF) sliders to Soundcard menu.

Added improved direct frequency entry, new option in the Tuning menu.

Reworking of band definition logic. The concept of locked definitions
has now been removed, instead there is a set of default definitions
and you can do what you want with them, similar in approach to the
Favourites. Also the default custom band definitions are no longer
shipped.

Changed Scan Favourites to Scan Frequencies, also reworked some of the
internal logic.

Reworked some Mapper logic, mainly tidying up lose ends.

Made the DX Cluster window dockable at the bottom of the main HRD
window.

Added a Web Page option - HRD can now upload a web page by FTP,
substituting tokens in the web page template with the current
frequency, mode and radio model. Simon has added a page to his website
as a trial- the URL is http://hb9drv.ham-radio.ch/radionow.htm. Note
that we are still working on this.

Added the HRD Cluster Updates window which configures information sent
to the HRD Cluster service on www.ham-radio.ch. The HRD Cluster web
pages which are generated from this data are still being written.

HRD Remote - access your radio via the network -

A logbook with QRZ.com lookup function .

The DX Cluster window now has a Submit Spot option

########
You must have the Microsoft Data Access Objects (DAO) installed on
your PC to be able to run the logbook.

If you get an error message if you try to open the logbook window then
here is the kit to install:

ftp://www.ham-radio.ch/kits/dao/dao35.zip

Unpack to your hard disk, then start setup.exe from disk1.
########

Anyone interested in using this FREE software is invited to join the
Ham Radio Deluxe User Community at http://www.ham-radio.ch/forums
where you will meet a friendly and knowledgeable group of people who
will be able to help you with (most) problems you may encounter.

145, Pete/Igor PH1PH - G7ECN for the Ham Radio Deluxe Development
Team.
