Now I know where you are the question makes sense.

I don't think there is a software solution, but I would expect careful
examination of the schematics would disclose the differences in the
various versions and one could probably locate a diode or jumper to
enable 7.0 to 7.3MHz - I would doubt 7.2 is easily possible since AFAIK
there is no version with 7.0 to 7.2 TX.
