Icom H-16 switch VHF ranges?

Icom H-16 switch VHF ranges?

I recently bought a used ICOM H-16 that I wanted to use to monitor the
155MHz band (local state police). It turns out that the H-16 has two
versions within the VHF band, and of course I bought the one that is
for the low end of the band.

Does anyone know if the radio can be programmed to work on the other
part of the band? Or is it more complicated than that?
