Well, you can try MultiPSK at http://members.aol.com/f6cte/index.htm

The program covers many digital modes, and includes HF Fax. I haven't
tried it on that mode, so cannot comment on it's performance.

There is still some WEFAX operations on HF, but they are getting harder
to find, as satellites have pretty much taken over. I used to spend a
lot of time decoding them!

May I suggest using Google and searching for "WEFAX"? I would think that
would return a great deal of information!

73 & good luck

Hi. I am a recently licensed HAM and I have a question. Is there an
easy, fairly inexpensive way to automate downloading WEFAX images and
printing them out?

I have a standalone PC workstation. I would like to connect an
(hopefully) inexpensive receiver and have it automatically pickup WEFAX
images. If it could then print the WEFAX image for my area to a printer
periodically throughout the day, that would be great.

What type of radio would I need? What WEFAX software should I use? Has
anyone done this and have a write up?

I’m PC savvy (app. dev.), but am still pretty radio-inexperienced.
Thanks for your help.
