Default Goodbye, eQSO

Now there is only one VoIP ham program left which is worth using:
Echolink.

Reason: You now have to register to use eQSO, but eQSO has vastly
inferior audio to Echolink. The friendly and trusting atmosphere has
vanished among eQSO operators, and that was in fact its one, redeeming
virtue. Now it has morphed into an inferior Echolink, and it is
simply not worth the effort required to register for it when one can
devote that effort to Echolink instead.

Goodbye, eQSO. You were fun while you lasted.

The 'friendly and trusting atmosphere' has probably gone following abuse.
The particulars asked for during registration are name, address, call
sign and email. These are then verified in some way, probably by QRZ.COM
or similar before a password is issued.
This information is readily available so all an abuser needs is
verifiable particulars. The only problem I can see is that people who
are 'particulars withheld' may have difficulty with registration.
