Default 2005 Silverado radio install questions

Anyone install a 2/440 rig in a 2005 Silverado? I will be soon and was just
wondering if anyone had been through it and had any advice that may help.
Where you can route power cables or coax throught the firewall. Perhaps a
good place you can pick up power form under the dash instead of going to the
battery. If I decide to roof mount an antenna, what is the best way to make
the hole for an NMO mount in the roof? Any experience with HF in the 2005
Silverado? Noise problems? Any RFI getting into any components of the trucks
electronics?
I have an IC-706 and a screwdriver antenna I may want to use in it. I had no
problems in my old 1990 truck but not much electronics in it compared to the
2005 (the employee discount GOT me)!! Thanks, Mike K7MH.
