group is irrelevant.

Why don't we rename it to

rec.ham.wannabees

Seriously, this group has turned into something that I would not want to
recommend for new hams, or people who want to be hams. I used to say
"Tune in and listen to us!" Now, people who don't have radios tune in
*here* and after a few minutes of reading stuff from people who pretend
to be hams (how pathetic is that?), these potential newcomers and good
friends decide to go elsewhere. Wouldn't you do the same?

I'm also a little embarrassed to be a human being, in light of this
group, but that is a tale for a different time.


OK, I'm going back to 20 meters to deliver H&W traffic. My dad's sister
is down there and hopefully I will hear some good news about her in the
process.
