K1MAN's Pychological Profile, according to his Wife
Sifting through prior posts, I found one relevant and worthy of
reposting. Where some hams are raising K1MAN's pyschology, what better commentary can we have than from Glenn's Wife, Bonny, which Glenn himself published? The following was posted on January 21, 2003. It is reposted with one caveat: The Logan Act is raised when, better, The Patriot Act should be substituted. ------------------------------------------------------------------ "Answering W4ASX editorials, today Baxter fired back. (In the attachment which follows) we learn that he equates himself to Bill Gates and Ted Turner, that people in Dayton ask for his autograph, that AARU is a registered trademark and that www.K1MAN.com had 64,582 hits during the month of December. But more to the point: 'My wife Bonnie says I am a narcissist.' Bonnie is on the money. DSM, the internationally accepted manual of mental disorders, defines narcissism as 'An all-pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration or adulation and lack of empathy, usually beginning by early adulthood and present in variety of contexts.' We all have characteristics that track DSM, but the difference between an order and disorder is dysfunction. If the characteristics give rise to a 'presenting problem, then the person is said to have a disorder. Quite simply, the issue comes down to whether Glenn's narcissism is all pervasive, invading, penetrating, and molding every aspect, nook, and cranny of the personality, which is, granted, a subjective judgment. The moment I witnessed the forays into foreign policy in Bougainville, I thought that line had been crossed. And now listening to Sam and Glenn talk about operations in Iraq, Jordan, Israel and Somalia, I know they've entered forbidden territory. Their activity violates the Logan Act, which prevents private citizens from conducting foreign policy. Glenn's response: 'And we have done some wild things around the world over the years. But in violation of the Logan Act? Come on Bob, who is deluded now?' In fact, Glenn embraces some of the same people we, worried about homeland security, oppose. Shouldn't a responsible leader be open, in the very least, to the possibility of adverse consequences? As Brian, K3VR, who has compiled an amazing dossier on Baxter operations in the arena of foreign policy, writes: 'Whether he is ill, naive, stupid, or a bona-fide spy, won't matter one iota to the agencies who have questions about his actions. They will want satisfactory answers to significant questions.' Our security demands no less. As to his respected Wife's assessment of narcissistic mental state, Baxter drops one more hint in the attachment. "Anyway, I sent Bob the $25 and he said he never got it. It did not come back so, being paranoid, I figured Bob was stiffing me." Unbelievable, this after the closest working relationship where I had proved my honesty time and again. Characteristic of Baxter, he does not disclose in the attachment (identification of check, i.e. date and number), leaving, for the readers, that cloud of suspicion remaining, a classic Baxter tactic. DSM identifies the narcissist as 'interpersonally exploitive, i.e., uses others to achieve his or her own ends.' It gives us closeup insight into his apparent view of himself: of the omnipotent, worldwide, IARN Network with offices girding the globe engaged in missions befitting Mother Teresa, his views sought out by leaders of the free and non-free worlds as well as important media, such as the Wall Street Journal and major TV Networks. We are left with an impression of grandeur, when, in fact, this is but one person, Glenn Baxter, and his Radio Shack recorder on timers and a loop. We would be less than honest if we didn't acknowledge a certain value in the production and distribution of such a bulletin. To read the DSM criteria for narcissistic disorder is to gain full insight into Baxter. Having 5 of the following qualifies him: 1) Feels grandiose and self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents to the point of lying, demands to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements), 2) Is obsessed with fantasies of unlimited success, fame, fearsome power or omnipotence, unequaled brilliance ..., 3) Firmly convinced that he or she is unique and, being special, can only be understood by, should only be treated by, or associate with, other special or unique, or high-status people (or institutions), 4) Requires excessive admiration, adulation, attention and affirmation -- or, failing that, wishes to be feared and to be notorious narcissistic supply), 5) Feels entitled. Expects unreasonable or special and favorable priority treatment. Demands automatic and full compliance with his or her expectations, 6) 'interpersonally exploitive' ..., 7) Devoid of empathy. Is unable or unwilling to identify with or acknowledge the feelings and needs of others, 8) Constantly envious of others or believes that they feel the same way about him or her, and 9) Arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes coupled with rage when frustrated, addicted, or confronted." Quoting Baxter: "He (meaning me) has been on Prozac for several years now and recently a mood regulator as well ... . While apparently making him happier, I now find Bob to be a different functioning human being with regard to his great intellectual abilities." "For sure, Glenn; thanks for the kudos. Depakote, a mood regulator, prevents those leaps into grandiosity, bad judgment, irritable episodes, pressured speech. The intellect remains, albeit, for more productive pursuits. There isn't a person in my inner circle, including myself, who has failed to notice a vast change for the better. For some, Depakote (makes) miracle(s). Consider it Glenn. Just a bit of harmless Depakote can make you the achiever you've only imagined thus far. Bob Sherin, W4ASX" |

would like to take it over. I hope they strip his license and punish him to the fullest extent of the law. Pride commeth before a fall! "Bob Sherin, W4ASX" wrote in message oups.com... Wonder what ever happened to that bedrock ham in
Miami in the mid-80s, who used to give disabled hams rides to ham club meetings. Used to be an inspiration to ride with him to meetings and socialize after. Oh, now I recall, he inserted himself into the kv4fz controversy, and since then, it has been all down hill for him. |
Lloyd, That's a funny commentary, because right after that I married
the Angel of my life, started a mood regulator called Depakota and life has been a dream. We have a wonderful group of friends -- with many hams among them. Let me now address the KV4FZ federal prosecution. Answering the call of a fellow ham, I went to help, not knowing a thing about it. I learned 1) that Herb had committed minor misconduct, and 2) that the federal government used unlawful tactics to try and bag him for 3 counts of felony. I happen to have discovered the false evidence, was able to prove it through witnesses here, and 2 counts were overturned. The 3rd, which remained, was questionable at best. Had I to do over again, I would, as I would for any ham, given the time. Bob Sherin, W4ASX |
That *is* a funny commentary Bob. He wuz "framed."
ROTFLMAO! Believe whatever delusion you want. The rest of us will stick with the facts of the case. Craving for attention? Keep inserting yourself in yet another ham radio controversy. |
..Lloyd,
There you go, Lloyd, raising your own predicate, then shooting it down. I never said he was framed; to the contrary. I've always maintained that he committed misconduct. But here's where it gets over your head apparently. Pay close attention and make an effort to comprehend. The Federal Government's position was that Herb was a kingpin of crime, defrauding Calls out of thousands. And so they presecuted three counts of felony. Two of those counts required a jurisdictional minimum of $1000, and the feds simply falsified his alleged wrongdoing to come up to that amount. Here's how I discovered the ruse. The printout was laid on the trial at the last minute (I wish I understood the federal rules and why his lawyer couldn't exclude it). Anyway, the printout made their case a fait accompli. After the trial, I asked for a copy and studied it all the way back to Miami. Noting two calls showing where Herb had called Miami, I visited those people and got Affidavits that neither even knew a Herb Schoenbohm, let alone talked to him. Put before the Court, the Affidavits resulted in two of the jury verdicts being overturned. The remaining was weak because it was "possession of a counterfeit access device with the intent to defraud." The access devise was a stretch of first impression to encompass a pass code in Herb's head. Trouble is, the Feds never specified any precise pass code. Vague and without specificity, that count should have gone too, in my view. I am not condoning his behavior in any way, just attempting to relate the intracacies as I saw them unfold. And yes, Lloyd, I get a kick out of moving social causes in a positive direction for society, which was part of my upbringing. There is a much more important issue occupying me right now and it is just breaking in the press. (For more info, put into Google Newgroup Search: "The Florida Bar is Corrupt.") Yes Lloyd, by their nature, these issues all do mature and reach the press. But before that, there is untold work that goes into them with little note. Bob Sherin, W4ASX |

Davies is an idiot. |
Nice try, Porky, but you couldn't hold a district manager's job, the

Here's the post that tickled the answer that follows: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- Bob. God bless you for trying to be civil to "Lloyd", but as you have already determined there are several posters usurping that name. The most proliferant, and the most obnoxious posts emanate from but one person, AB8MQ in West Virginia. This person has a penchant for being less than witty and most often resorts to profanity in a weak-minded effort to respond to or irritate other posters. If you are ever in the mood and have some time to waste, you can do a Google search of AB8MQ (and his old callsign, KC8JBO) and I guarantee that you will find more than enough to keep you busy for an evening. This poster has, as a result of his cruel profanity, lost numerous internet providers over the years and now often resorts to anonymous remailers to post his filth. In short, Bob, responding to "Lloyd", aka Roger Wiseman, is futile. Don't waste your time. The man is psychotic, a social misfit who, at 50 years of age, shows no promise of outgrowing puberty. |

Poor Lardass, up at almost 4 AM, whining about another man, drunk, alone on a Friday night in his filthy HUD section 8 public housing for low incomed trash like him in the ghettos of Athens,AL! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH..It's another lonely night for little Lloydie, but ain't they all? -- "Digital" shows not only is he too ****ing stupid to correctly read a message header, he can't count to 5 in : "posts from one of his four providers. http://1st.net MSN AOL netzero.net 1Cust5558.an3.cle11.da.uu.net" |

"Who's Roger's BITCH?" whined in message oups.com... That's our But he's not up at almost 4 AM on a Friday night dateless whining about another man like you are, LARDASS! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! more whining from Dumb**** Davies LOL! Coming from a hopelessly myopic ****tard who fancies himself the center of the universe, this goes way beyond a PKB. The problem is, Lameass Lloydie, you've been hammered so hard for so many years, you're totally punch drunk. Just a blind man shooting at the world with blanks for ammo. I know getting through your thick skull is nearly impossible, Lardass Davies, but your delusions are so laughable that I couldn't resist putting you back where you belong. Just couldn't help but notice that it seems you have a severe case of megalomania (Pauses while you look that 'big word" up)that is completely unjustified. Thought I'd like to point out that your homepage and yahoo gay chat group Domestic **** is a fetid, steaming turd (sorta like your posts), and those alcohol and drug inspired poems and pictures are pitiful. To think that you spend your time composing these pathetic lines of verse, and even more pathetic prose in the form of empty threats and weak flames (I should call them "sparks", maybe "fizzles" would be more appropriate), and then are so PROUD of these things that you put them all over the place!! Well, **** for brains, I guess these things just confirm my suspicions all along that you have absolutely NO LIFE. You've even admitted this on the board and on the newsgroups. And those many sockpuppets you have.... I'm pretty sure that the only time you've ever pulled wool was to keep the sheep from running away. -- "Who's Your Daddy, BITCH?" blathered after consuming sheep ****, ****** cum and a Colt .45 40-ouncer in . com: "Too funny. Someone look "irony" up the the dictionary for our Woger." Who's Your Daddy, Roger's BITCH , shows off those Pulitzer Prize spelling and English skills in .com: "No one get's Woger fluster and..." Who's Roger's BITCH, Ironically, you made an ass of "yourself" when you couldn't even spell "yourself" correctly in Message-ID: . com: "Do you ever stop and look what an ass you make of your self?" |
Poor poor Woger. Still seeing Lloyd everywhere. What a looooooser.

Those of you who have something substantial to say, thank you.
Wouldn't it be preferable, fellow hams, to put this group on an issue level? That way we could all learn from one another, for that is the raison d'tre of Newsgroups. For example, my initial post in this thread, as great as I thought it was at the time, pales in comparison to a private response I received from a genius of a Counselor. Unfortunately, it is something that cannot go public yet understand that my analysis here is amateurish. That having been said, why can't we have erudite opinions here, or if we lack erudition, why don't we pretend we have it, as I did in initiating this thread? For myself, I love to be outclassed, because it is such an easy education. I mean, without sitting in the classroom as the professor drones on and on, we get the best from one another, thereby spiraling our intellects, or whatever intellects we have. Am I asking too much for the group to consider this post? Is it asking too much for those of you who post personal attacks and drivel to try and contribute meaningfully? After all, we are all judged by the rhetoric that surrounds us here. And I personally am so ashamed of some of it that I always wind up pulling out, when what we need is the best minds staying and rising to the top. Bob Sherin, W4ASX |
