Haha...

I have a similar story. I was at our local medical GP's office for
something and his cellphone started beeping CW. It spelled out the call
letters and said the name of the company (I've never heard cellfones do
that) and I said "Oh, it just said 'KJH123 Verizon Com'" or whatever it was.

He gave me the strangest look!

I said, 'I mean your cellfone, it just sent something in Morse code'.

He gave me the strange look again and says 'Uh, mmm-kay'.

If only you could get it to interface with caller ID.

I have not tried it yet as I don't want others to know who's calling me,
but on my Ericsson P1 I can choose personal ringtones so it would be
possible to connect a CW-call to someone in my phone-book.

Hey OM:
The messages on my cell are sent in CW. I used it just for work. My
boss sent her phone number and it came to me in CW on my phone. My
phone was a refurb. so I don't know how they did it. I've searched for
that program but to no avail.

Years ago I was hooked up to some medical gear that beeped a CW ON or
OFF.with corresponding state change.
