Default FT736r front end transistor BF982

Hey OM:

Give me a break, there is know way the front end is going to use 40 ma
of current. What the heck do you think it's driving the freaking audio
output?

Firstly they aren't going to be using the front end in anything but
class A. That makes the only parameters you have to looky at. are
Vds, gain, Ft, and noise figure. Forget about Pd and Ids. Just looky
at the drain resistor, says it all.
