I just got a Quad Sideband signal yesterday.
Here's how it works for AM. When you modulate 100%, you get one on each side, 200% two on each side. They act like additional amplitude, like an amplifier. The more sidebands there are, the louder it will be x1,x2,x3,x4 louder. |
