Hi,
I need to order crystals for old transceivers Systcoms VTR-10 and VTR-12.
What is the equation formula) for calculating crystal frequencies ?

depending on how they designed their hardware. Example: Some Motorola
portables used a 10.7MHz IF, while others used 45MHz. This, obviously,
had an effect on the crystal formula.

International Crystal (http://www.icmfg.com, I'm assuming that's
who you're talking to) may have references to your particular
equipment's model. Check with them first.

Failing that, you will need the service manual for your equipment.
The crystal frequency calcs will most likely be listed in there.
