Default HF Test Bench Project

My little project ,which started out to be a software-controlled HF sweep
set, has taken on a life of its own. Although I'm calling it an HF Scalar
Network Analyzer, it is now much more. The unit supplies unregulated 12V and
regulated 5V to the circuit under development. The software system now has
an analog meter panel that measures the DC output voltages, the DC output
current, and also the DC voltage measured by a set of plug-in test probes.
I'm going to start calling it the "HF Test Bench". It's all built from
inexpensive off-the-shelf sub-assemblies. The power comes from the software.

If you're interested in seeing what I'm doing, check out my web site at:

You can download my latest demo software package and get a feeling for how
exciting this project has become.
