If you look in some of the old QST's from the 20's you'll see
most of the early transmitters were just as ugly. Old spark gap
monsters!

Wow! You are so right!!! Hideous and built on the extreme cheap and
then some. It looks like he is getting some bids however. But like the
previous respondents mentioned, at least he tried and that is worth a lot.
