the fuel pump will run for a few seconds when you turn the key on and then stop
because it builds up pressure in the line. when you turn the engine over the
pump will start up again to keep the pressure up for all the injectors.it will
never stop till you shut the car off . it has a return presure valve in the
line to return fuel to the tank...bet it is the pump giving you the noise..
