Does anyone have a schematic for once of those strobe circuits that will
flash when the phone rings. I want to make one for my workshop where it's
very noisy at times and I don't hear the phone.

Thanks

The easiest is a neon bulb NE-2 [don't use an NE-2H] and the largest
resistor to get it to light. Probably in the 10's to 100k. This isn't
bright, but needs no power. This was used for many years in many circuits.

If it is not bright enough, then one of the other circuits with a high
resistance sense and external power to light a bright light is needed. That
link has one
