Electrolytics are notorious for drying out and 15 years is really pushing it. I'd just replace them with some new ones. -- Bill, W6WRT QSLs via LoTW I agree with Bill, for the cost involved and the impending failure just replace them. The power supply will be good for another 15 years and be trustworthy. If one of the old caps fails it could take out the rectifiers and chokes, not to mention the mess.......Eddie |
