Ovenaire OSC 48-11C Frequency 3.000 MHz Ovenaire-Audio-Carpenter OSC 91-21 Frerquency 44.736 MHz If they are similar to the ones made by the major cystal manufacturers they should have the same pinout. It seems to be standard - Gnd on pin 2, Vcc on pin 4, etc. The OSC 48-11C has 4 terminals on the top of a rather large rectangular metal box labeled E1,E2,E3, and E4. The box is 11 cm long by 3.7 cm wide by 5.2 cm high. There are two access screws on the end marked "fine" and "coarse". This module looks almost exactly like an old Motorola oscillator module with a model number of "K1052A ASP06". The difference is the OSC 48-11C is in a steel case while the Motorola unit is in a machined aluminum case with three terminals in the same location labeled E1, E2, and E3. Somebody has already sent me some info about the Motorola unit. I suspect the Motorola unit is a copy of the OSC 48-11C, which I think is maybe a double oven design. The OSC 91-21 module is in a steel case 5.1 cm square by 1.5 cm high. There are only three terminals in a line by one corner. The center terminal is clearly the case, but I don't have a clue about which one is the RF out and Vcc input, and voltage required. I don't want to "experiment" with the two I have as both appear to be new and never used. -- Leland C. Scott KC8LDO Wireless Network Mobile computing on the go brought to you by Micro$oft |
