Default DTMF Software??

Hello and thanks for reading this note.

I am looking for software (preferably freeware!) that will kick out
DTMF tones on my PC speaker.

I am putting a decoder together and want to use this for testing.

Any info appreciated.

Hello,

The only one I know of is DTMFF and you can find it at...
http://www.bookcase.com/library/soft....hamradio.html
It is old (1997) and runs under DOS.
It's cardware.

Maybe someone else will know of one a little newer.

The best software for any _REAL_ Radio Ham (this is,
after all, the homebrew NG) is that which he writes for
himself.

CBers buy things off the shelf.

To generate a tone out a sound card is half a dozen
lines of C. To generate two tones isn't much more.
Look at any reference on how DDS chips work to see
how.
