With kind regards Nobody Just a suggestion, but if you want to save some time on the project and still do it dirt cheap: check out eBay auctions for grid dippers, and watch for high quality units (early Millen, etc.) that are missing the coil sets. They usually go dirt cheap. Since you'd have to make your own set of coils for a homebrew, might as well consider making them for a good quality commercial unit. I'm kind of partial to the Millen. Pete Late model Heathkit GDO (comes in nice plastic case) I forget the model number is very nice. Usually goes for $50-$100 on ebay (more if un-assembled!). |
