Hello everybody:
thank you for all your suggestions, I have already repaired/adjusted the
power supply, some switches and the optical encoder.
It seem the 100 KHz resolution filter does not work properly (83 KHz of
error in bandwidth according to the internal calibration routine)
83 kHz of what? The self-calibration routine displays the *center*
frequency error of the filter, not its bandwidth. 83 kHz off-frequency
is not ideal but probably still OK.
What is the dB value (+/-) that the self-cal screen displays for this
filter? Does the routine complete without displaying any error
messages?
and the
1st LO sometimes fails to lock at low frequencies...50KHz-200KHz.
You might try the LO calibration procedure as described in service
volume 1. It doesn't take very long.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I have all the manuals and trying to
solve it.
Any place where I could get working modules or board extenders???
Modules/parts: Deane Kidd (dektyr (at) teleport.com), or Tom Neumann
(info (at) tektrotom.de).
Extenders: Matt North at Norway Labs sells these (example at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3847034014
). You can
contact him directly at matt.north (at) verizon.net.
