best thing to do is to use your multi-meter
select each wire in turn and look for continuity these could be the rx wires , next key up and see if the signal on the meter drops , if so they are the TX/ox -ppt , or one is and the other will be the gnd , one you know the ground work around the others , to find the wire that produces about half scale of the multi-meter , this is most likely the audio/ or mic wire , now you know 3 wires its getting less and less for you to have to work out , I presume the others must be up & down buttons and maybe a separate voltage wire . use the meter or try to look at the radio cct this should tell you all the info you need to know . de Paul "Silvio" wrote in message ...
