Default New program - 1/2-wave vertical antenna

NEW PROGRAM

Program VERTUNE.exe analyses performance of half-wave, end-fed,
vertical and similar antennas. See how power losses are distributed.

A parallel L and C tuned circuit Z-matches the high impedance
feedpoint to a coaxial line. Coil design, (dimensions, wire gauge,
turns) is included.

High radiating efficiency can be acheived with a poor ground electrode
system.

Download VERTUNE (41 kilobytes) in a few seconds, no un-zipping
inconvenience, and run immediately.

once again thanks for these GREAT antenna design aids!

FYI, they do work in a "dosemu" environment under Linux (tried on
dosemu 1.2.2.0).

Dear Paola,

Thanks very much for the information.
I was not aware of it.
I must take steps to publicise it.

Thanks for the VerTune program. I almost bought an auto-tuner to match a 10
meter high vertical until I saw that the calculated impedance was beyond the
capabilities of the tuner. Saved money!
