Thus a Radio Ham could also hold a CB licence safe in the knowledge that such a licence says no more about him than having a land-line telephone, whilst continuing to regard Ham Radio as a separate technical pursuit. Ever since you were 'outed' as a CBer, you've been engaged in this damage limitation exercise which, to be quite honest, smacks of effort. Nobody really gives a toss whether you own a CB-set or not...its your 'holier than thou' attitude which people find 'old'. However, at least I *can* criticise you without fear of having my door smashed down by the police and being arrested for intimidating you. You can also be sure that, should you criticise me, which you are equally entitled to do, I will take it on the chin like a decent chap and not get all stroppy about it at the local lodge. 10-10, high and low numbers, etc etc ![]() Poos -- vy 73 de Conrad Poos "Ich bin ein radio amateur" |
