Default Dissipating High RF Power in Vacuums

Bobby wrote:
All,
What methods are commonly used to dissipate high RF power in vacuum
chambers, apart from conduction cooled plates?

Any response is welcomed.

Thanks.

The only other method is radiation, since you already mentioned
conduction.

Many high power glass vacuum tubes are cooled primarily by infrared
radiation. Tantalum or moly anode power grid tubes like the 4-400 or
3-500 are cooled primarily by infrared radiation and to a much lesser
extent conduction out the metal element supports.
