6W, SENEGAL. Giovanni, IZ2DPX, will be active as 6W/IZ2DPX from Somone
City (GL IK14MM), May 12-22nd. Activity will be on 160/80/40/20/17/15/
12/10/6 meters. He will use a Kenwood TS-870 and an Icom 706 MGIIs G
into 3 elements monobands for 20/15/10 meters and a Titanex VE80 for
160/80/40/17/12 meters. Giovanni will also have a 5 elements Tonna for
the 6 meters. There is a possibility he may also activate IOTA AF-045.
QSL Manager is IK2DUW. QSL direct (QRZ.com address) or by the bureau.

A5, BHUTAN. Steve, W7VOA, informs OPDX that he will be active as A52SW
from Thimpu, May 17-22nd. Activity will be on 80-6 meters CW/SSB and
possibly PSK, as well as 10-meter FM. Steve is a news correspondent
based in India covering South Asia and says this will be the first of
numerous trips he plans to make to Bhutan over the next several years
as A52SW. QSL Manager for A52SW will be K2AU. ADDED NOTE: He is also
licensed as 7J1AIL in Japan and 9N7VOA in Nepal.

BS7, SCARBOROUGH REEF. The BS7H DXpedition went QRT as scheduled at or
about 0001z, May 6th. As this bulletin was being prepared, their Web
page announced that the BS7H team made "NEARLY 45,000 QSOS". The team
is probably very exhausted and glad to be out of heat and the salt
water sea breezes. The reports throughout the week indicated that
Scarborough Reef is an extremely hazardous location to operate from and
team members were showing signs of it with fatigue and coral cuts. OPDX
would like to thank the BS7H team for their hard work under the harsh
conditions they had to endure over the past week, providing many in
the DX community with a new DXCC entity which has put many on "Top of
DXCC's #1 Honor Roll". QSL via KU9C. For updates, visit the BS7H Web
Page at: http://www.bs7h.com
Don, N1DG, BS7H's Webmaster, stated on one of the DX mailing lists that
online logs will be available around May 15th.
ADDED NOTE: Listen to an interesting interview with James Brooks,
9V1YC, made via sat phone from BS7H with Wolf Harranth,OE1WHC, at:
http://www.dokufunk.org/upload/BS7H.MP3
It gives a good description of what the operators of BS7H had endured.

E51/S, SOUTH COOK ISLANDS (Update). Last week we mentioned that Gary,
ZL2IFB (G4IFB), would be on a family holiday to Rarotonga this month.
Gary has informed OPDX this past week that he will be there with his
XYL from May 24-28th. He also states, "This is a holiday first and
foremost, so I'll only be operating casually, mostly during WPX, using
5 or 100W (K2 or TS850 depends on weight allowance) to wires in the
trees on the shore. Not exactly competitive! It's more of a chance to
scout out the place for future trips, maybe. If/when I'm on, I'll be
100% CW, probably on 30 or 40m around E51 dawn & dusk. If there are any
proper contest setups there who want some help, I'll try to slip across
for a few hours instead of going it alone." QSL via ZL2IFB or LoTW.

Inje, South Korea. The event will be held from June 27th to July 2nd.
