Categories for bands 144 and 432 MHz: Stations are subdivided by power and type of antenna employed. For yagis the total lenght, in wavelenghts, is considered (distance reflector-last director multiplied by the number of yagis in the array), for parabolic reflectors the dish diameter is considered... PZ5-EME-Trip, dated 2008-09-18 "I'm sorry to announce that the VHF EME part of PZ5Z expedition was canceled. We had some problems with local 2m license as well as with possible QRM from 20m far HF yagies with everyday QRO (PZ5Z license is valid only for PZ5RA's QTH). However we don't give up and would go there for 100% EME expedition without HF during spring or summer 2009. The call sign 'GB1CM' is to commemorate the first anniversary of the tragic loss of life of 'Colin McRae' on the 15th September 2007,the greatest British rally driver ever, winning the 1995 WRC title along with being the British Rally Champion in 1991 and 1992, I feel Colin McRae was well loved and best known for is exploits with his 'Subaru Impreza'in the WRC events. He is missed by all who knew him and his many thousands of fans. Last year GB2TX scooped both club Transmission trophies for most contacts of 1165 QSOs and most funds raised of £1750, which was a staggering 31% of the National total raised by the event.
