3B9, Rodrigues Island:

Erich, OE4AAC, will be active as 3B9/OE4AAC von Rodrigues Island

14th - 21st February on 40 - 10 meters, CW only. QSL via homecall.



3C, Annobon:

EA5BYP and EA5KM have announced plans to be active from Equatorial

Guinea Area in February. They will travel to Malabo on Bioko Island

(AF-010, WLOTA 2977) and possibly be active from there as 3C6A using

CW or SSB and RTTY. They will purchase "all needed provisions" in

Malobo and then they will travel to Annabon (AF-039, WLOTA 0174,

WW Loc. JI28to) with a "representative from the Ministry". On the

island they will sign 3C0E. QSL via EA5BYP, direct only, and LoTW.

4U, ITU:

4U1ITU now has a webcam online. Currently there is an activity as

4U1WRC. In ARRL International DX CW Contest they will be as 4U1ITU.

4W, Timor Leste:

Vlad, UA4WHX curently is active on Atauro Island (OC-232), as 4W0VB/p

With a focus on the low bands. There was no information about the

length of his stay. QSL via homecall.



5V, Togo:

February 5th - 17th Franco, I1FQH, uses the call 5V7V (2011 he was

avtive as 5V7DX) in Kpalime Village on 160 - 6 meters. For 20 - 10

meters he uses a Spiderbeam and on 160 - 80 meters as well as for

40 - 30 meters he has home brew verticals. There is a focus to the

low bands. Rig is a K3 with KL500-PA and an FT-817 for 6 meters. Due

to turbolences during the flight the equipment was damaged and now

Franco looks for repair under the limited possibilities in this

8P, Barbados:

Larry K3VX (8P9VX), Bill, W3WH (8P9WH), and Carl, K9CS (8P9CS), will go

to Barbados (NA-021, WLOTA 0999) February 14th - 22nd. They will be

active on all bands and in all modes. They will participate in ARRL DX

CW Contest (18/19th February) as 8P5Y. QSLs via K9CS.



A5, Bhutan:

Look for Iain, G4SGX, February 11th - 15th as A52JF on 40 - 10 meters

using CW, SSB, and PSK. Good operating by the DX hunters in the pile

up should help for a high QSO score. QSL via homecall, direct only,

LoTW.



C6, Bahamas:

Find Drew, N2RFA (C6ABB), Gene, K2KJI (C6ALC), and Ivars, KC4PX (C6APX)

in Cable Beach on New Providence Island (NA-001, WLOTA 1115, WW Loc.

FL15HB) 13th - 23rd February on 80, 20, 15, 12, and 10 meters using

SSB, PSK31, RTTY, SSTV, and JT65. QSLs via homecalls, direct only, LoTW,

and eQSL.

(C6AKQ), and Brian K7RE (C6ALK) 13th - 20th February active on Grand

E5, South Cook Islands:

E51NJB will be activated by John, N5JB, 13th - 21st or 25th February

Mostly on CW and in the ARRL DX CW Contest (18./9. February) as SOABLP.

FG, Guadeloupe:

February 9th - 19th Jean-Pierre, FG/F6ITD, will be on Basse-Terre

(NA-102, DIFO FG-019) and 20th February - 13th March on La Desirade

(NA-102, DIFO FG-004, WLOTA 1121) using an FT450D, VR7C verticals and

dipoles on SSB and digital modes. QSL via homecall.



FM, Martinique:

Look for Valery, FM/R5GA February 13th - 20th on 160 - 10 meters mostly

using CW. He will be in the ARRL DX CW Contest(18./19. February) SOABHP

as TO5X. QSL via UA3DX, LoTW.



FP, St. Pierre et Miquelon:

On Miquelon (Grid GN17tc NA-032 DIFO FP-002 WLOTA 1417) there will be

Al, FP/W6HGF, February 10th - 20th with IC-7000, 300-Watts-PA,

multiband dipole for 160 - 10 meters and SteppIR vertical for 40 - 10

meters - if weather and transport are suitable. Look for him in CQWW

WPX RTTY Contest and ARRL DX CW Contest also. QSL via homecall, LoTW,

H4, Salomon Islands:

Noel, W1XB, will be on the air 7th - 28th February as H44XB on

Guadalcanal (OC-047) using 20, 15 and 10 meters on CW and SSB with

H40, Temotu:

There will be a new activity by Sigi, DK9FN, and Peter, DG1FK, as H40FN

(CW) and H40FK (digimodes) from Nendo (OC-100) February 11th - 24th.

HK0NA finished 1647 UTC on February 5th and logged 192.089 QSOs with

43.176 different stations, with pile ups until the very end of the

Torkel, LA6VJA, announced an activity on February 11th as JW6VJA on

Spitzbergen (EU-026, WLOTA 0125). In Arktic night probably only low

KH0, Mariana Islands:

On February 12th through 16th Sosho, KH0/JA4JWD, will be active on 80 -

KH2, Guam:

Find Take, KH2/JS6RRR, again on Guam (IOTA OC-026, USI GU003S, WLOTA

L-0064) February 10th - 14th on 160 - 6 meters using CW, SSB, FM, RTTY,

T5, Somalia:

Darko, J28AA, will be active from Hargeisa (WW Loc. LJ29an) February

10th - 20th. He will get his call on arrival. Equipment is an FT-857D

with multiband vertical for 40 - 10 meters. he intends to train locals

on ham radio and found a local club during his stay. He will leave an

IC-735 with antenna for them. QSL via K2PF or E77E. Als on QRZ.com



T8, Palau:

T88WG will be the call of Takeshi, JH1WGP, on the West Plaza at the Sea

Hotel on Koror Island (OC-009, WW Loc. PJ77fi) 9th - 15th February.

Look for him on 80 - 10 meters using CW, SSB, and digital modes.

Palau Rental Shack will be the home for Kazu, JA1IST, and Masami,

JA9BFM, during their activity as T88ZO bzw. T88ZT 10th - 20th February

from Koror Island (OC-009) on CW, SSB, and RTTY. Kazu will listen 3-10

kHz up and requests full calls and insists that you respect his

instructions, otherwise you might be blacklisted. QSL T88ZT via JA3HZT,

TR, Gabon:

Sebastien, F4EIH, is in Gabon for about 3 years starting February 1st

and plans to be on SSB, PSK31, and JT65, also on VHF (EME and

Satellites). There was no information about his call.



V2, Antigua:

Tom, AA9A, and Bob, W4OWY, will be V25AA resp V25WY February 13th -

22nd on 160 - 6 meters with CW, SSB, and RTTY. Tom will be in the ARRL

DX CW Contest (18./19. February). QSLs via homecalls, V25AA also LoTW.



V3, Belize:

Find an activation of St. George's Island (NA-073) by Jeff, K0UU,

as V31SG on 40 - 10 meters, CW only 11th - 20th February and in

V4, St. Kitts:

Jon, W5JON, will be active again as V47JA February 8th - March 28th

from Calypso Bay, (NA-104, WW Loc. FK87SG) on 80 - 6 meters. He will

use TS-590S, FT-857D and SB200, antennas are multiband dipole,

verticals and 3-element-Yagi for 6 meters. He will take part in ARRL

International DX SSB Contest (3./4. March), and CQ WPX SSB Contest

(24./25. March) SOAB. Now and then XYL Cathy (W5HAM) will operate as

W, USA:

For Arizona's 100 years jubilee operators of "Central Arizona DX

Association" (CADXA) will hit the air waves as K7UGA 13th through 19th

February. K7UGA was the private call of Barry M. Goldwater, late

Senior Senator, and Arizona native son. Find them on 160 - 2 meters

using CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK31 and satellites. This activity was recognized

by "Arizona Centennial Foundation" as "Special Event" and by "Arizona

Historical Advisory Commission" as official "Centennial Legacy Project".
