KAGM Albuquerque Dismisses Airstaff; Rebranding To Follow

American General Media Rhythmic CHR Power 106.7 KAGM Los Alamos/Albuquerque
has let go of its airstaff and will soon relaunch with a new identity.
Morning host/APD Double J, co-host Lyndsie, Imaging Director/afternoon host
Johnny V and MD/night host MQ Party have all exited with the changes.
Program Director Picazzo Stevens remains in place. Stevens rejoined AGM as
PD of KAGM and sister CHR Z106.3 KDLW Los Lunas in July after previously
holding the PD duties at KAGM and then-Alternative Area 102.9 KARS in 2014
prior to a mass move of talent from Univision in April 2014. Departing

Howard Stern Extends SiriusXM Contract; To Launch Video App

Howard Stern has agreed to a new contract to remain on-air with SiriusXM
for five more years. Stern will continue to be heard on the Howard 100
channel live from 7-11am with additional programming on Howard 101. The new
contract will see SiriusXM add its first original video programming as the
company will launch a streaming video app to broadcast Sterns show as well
as ancillary programming and content from his archives. As part of the
deal, SiriusXM has licensed all of Sterns audio and video archives through

Radio-One Launches Boom 102.9 Indianapolis

Indianapolis has become the next market to gain multiple Classic Hip-Hop
stations as Radio-One launched Boom 102.9 W275BD Greenfield/WNOW-HD2
Speedway. The new format gives a direct format competitor to Cumulus 93.9
The Beat WRWM, which had a near worst to first rise earlier this year
before dropping back down the markets ratings. The new Boom is Radio-Ones
sixth Classic Hip-Hop station and launched at 3:00pm with NWAs Straight
Outta Compton. W275BD will run commercial-free through January 11, when it
will add the new Ed Lover Monie Love morning show Radio-Ones Reach Media
is debuting for Classic Hip-Hop stations.
