WLS-FM Sets New Lineup With Danny Lake Exit

Cumulus Classic Hits 94.7 WLS-FM Chicago is lengthening airshifts following
the exit of 1-4pm host Danny Lake. Morning co-host Kim Berk will add solo
duties from 9-10am. Greg Brown moves from 9am-1pm to 10am-3pm, Robert
Murphy from 4-8pm to 3-7pm and Jeff Davis adds the 7pm hour to his prior
8pm-12am timeslot. Lake joined WLS-FM in 2008 for weekends and later moved
up to afternoons. He spent much of his career on the east coast using the
name Bob Worthington at stops including WNSR New York, WYXR Philadelphia,
WQSR Baltimore, and WBIG-FM Washington before renaming himself Danny Miller
at WMYX Milwaukee.

WSEN-FM Syracuse On The Move?

In late December, Family Life Ministries purchased Classic Hits 92.1
WSEN-FM Baldwinsville/Syracuse NY from Leatherstocking Media Group. Will
the current brand now be headed elsewhere in the market? Anonymous domain
registrations were made yesterday for 1021WSEN.com, 102WSEN.com,
WSEN102.com and WSEN1021.com. 102.1 is currently WZUN Communications
Classic Hits Sunny 102.1 WZUN Phoenix NY, which was reacquired by Galaxy
Communications late last year. Family Life acquired WSEN-FM and 106.3
WMCR-FM Oneida NY for $2.5 million. Following the original assignment
application, Family Life amended its plans and no-longer intends to convert
92.1 WSEN-FM to non-commercial status. Will another deal be coming to send
the license to another commercial operator in the market?
