What's Next For 100.9 Tulsa? Is There An Answer?

Posted: 26 Aug 2016 11:38 AM PDT
https://radioinsight.com/blog/headli...ere-an-answer/

Since Stephens Media moved the Christian AC format and KXOJ call letters
last Tuesday to the former 94.1 The Breeze KTSO Glenpool/Tulsa, 100.9 KTSO
Sapulpa OK has been stunting with a loop redirecting KXOJs listeners to the
new frequency.

That will apparently come to an end on Thursday, September 1. The former
941TheBreeze.com currently features a countdown clock titled 100.9 counting
down to 12:00am on 9/1. In the August 17 Daily Domains we noted that KXOJ
Program Director Bob Thornton had registered TheAnswerTulsa.com through his
RadioServers.com web design company.

A flip to Talk would pit KTSO up against Cox Medias market leading 740
KRMG/102.3 KRMG-FM and Scripps 1170 KFAQ. Usage of the Answer branding
would likely indicate the use of much of Salem Medias Conservative Talk
talent as the company owns the trademark on the brand.
