Centennial QSO Celebration for Radio Club of Tacoma





Join the celebration of RCTs 100th anniversary during our Centennial QSO
Party in October. The Radio Club of Tacoma was founded in 1916 and is one
of the oldest amateur radio clubs in the United States. In October of 2016,
RCT will be 100 years old.





Every weekend in the month of October we will be operating the Club’s radio
sets as W7DK/100....

N5B - Plano (TX) Balloon Festival 2016

For the sixth consecutive year, the Plano Amateur Radio Klub (PARK) and the
McKinney Amateur Radio Club (MARC) will jointly operate an Amateur Radio
Special Event Station at the 2016 Plano Balloon Festival, September 23-25,
2016.



We plan to have 3 SSB stations operating onsite from 2 PM (CDT) / 1900 UTC
on Friday until 2 PM (CDT) / 1900 UTC Sunday (Operations will cease at
night between 8pm-8am CDT/ 0100-1300 UTC)

The bands we are on greatly depend on conditions, but we plan to operate
on...
