Without further adieu and by popular demand!



We are back the Winter Field Day Association brings you Winter Field Day.



Join Us on Saturday, January 28 at 1900z (2:00 PM EST) until Sunday,
January 29 at 1900z (2:00 PM EST). On all the bands and modes, except the
WARC bands.



We have changed the rules so now it will be similar to ARRL Field Day. For
example the exchange will be WX4ET 1O TN, for the Multi Ops. It will be by
the number of stations, for example WX4TN 10O TN.

Here is a video on some micro HF dipoles i found. Under 5 ounces, and
multiple versions. They work exceptionally well, and will be in my go-kit
video. Also good for the stealth operator that cant have an antenna at the
QTH.

An International Space Station radio contact has been planned for astronaut
Thomas Pesquet KG5FYG with Primary School Georges Wallers,
Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (59), France.



The event is scheduled Saturday December 31, 2016 at approximately 11:31
UTC, which is 12:31 CEWT.



The contact will be operated by F4KJV.



The downlink signals will be audible in parts of Europe on 145.800MHz.
