CBS Launches Adult Hits "95.7 The Spot" Houston

95.7 KKHH flipped to Adult Hits 95.7 The Spot at 12:30pm. The Spot is
positioning itself as Your Place. Your Music. Your Way focusing on pop hits
from the 70s through 2000s. Core artists listed include Madonna, Boston,
Maroon 5, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Def Leppard, Eurythmics, Prince, Journey,
and George Michael.

The new format also fills the vacant Classic Hits void in the Houston
market and positions the station between iHeartMedias market leading AC
Sunny 99.1 KODA and Cox Media Classic Rock 107.5/106.9 The Eagle KGLK/KHPT.

In an exciting move for Houston area music fans, CBS RADIO’s 95.7 today
unveils a fresh new format beginning promptly at 12:30 pm. 95.7 The Spot is
Houston’s newest adult hits radio station programmed for listeners who love
a variety of hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. The station is
designed for listeners who need a break from the everyday stresses of life
and features the most popular artists of the time, including Michael
Jackson, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Madonna, U2, Prince and many others.

We worked exhaustively to understand what Houston listeners were missing in
the market from their local radio stations,� said Sarah Frazier, SVP/Market
Manager, CBS RADIO Houston. “Listeners told us they wanted their own spot
to hear their favorite music hits, a spot to relax and energize at work and
a spot to feel comfy and complete. This is your Spot, Houston.�

Original Report 10:30am: CBS CHR Hot 95.7 KKHH Houston will launch its new
identity at 12:30pm today.

We reported yesterday that CBS had registered 957TheSpot.com for KKHH,
while all references to the Dave, Mahoney, and DK morning show has been
wiped from sister Hot AC Mix 96.5 KHMX.

The station began stunting at 10:20 with a robotic clock counting down from
2957. A message on KKHHs website simply states Were making some changes to
95-7. Tune In at 12:30pm to find out what.

iHeartMedia Country B92.5 KBEB Sacramento relaunched this morning as 92.5
The Bull.

Debuting with 92.5 hours commercial-free, no other noticeable changes
accompany the change. The existing on-air lineup of Bobby Bones in the
morning, Michelle Buckles in middays, Program Director JJ Ryan in
afternoons, and Erik Zachary at night remain in place.

KBEBs 2.1 share placed it sixteenth overall in the Sacramento market in the
December Nielsen Audio ratings. It trails CBS fourth ranked 105.1 KNCIs 5.5
share, but is just ahead of Entravisions 101.9 The Wolf KNTYs 1.9 share.

John Osterlind Joins Bayou 95.7 New Orleans For Mornings

With the syndicated Walton Johnson departing Entercom Classic Rock Bayou
95.7 WKBU New Orleans, the station has tabbed John Osterlind to fill the
slot starting Monday, January 9.

Osterlind previously hosted 5-8pm at iHeartMedia Talk 99.5 WRNO until being
laid off in January 2015. Prior to coming to New Orleans he worked at Rock
stations in the northeast under the on-air name Ozone including nine years
at Entercoms 107.3 WAAF Boston. He made the move to talk in 2001 co-hosting
mornings at Entercoms 680 WRKO Boston with congressman Peter Blute.

Morning hosts Chadd and Kristi Thomas have exited Cox Media Group AC Magic
94.9 WWRM Tampa.

The married couple had been in that slot since January 2001. Chadd Thomas
previously worked at 99.5 WQYK and 107.3 WCOF in Tampa, while Kristi used
the name Kristi Storm at 98 Rock WXTB and Thunder 103.5 WTBT.

Nedved Media is acquiring Riverfront Broadcastings three stations in
Mitchell SD for $3.35 million. The local group held by Nancy and Steve
Medved will acquire News/Talk 1490 KORN, Country 92.1 Korn Country KORN-FM,
and Hot AC Q107 107.3 KQRN Mitchell. The Nedveds will begin operating the
cluster via LMA on January 1.

Larry Pamela Nelson are transferring controlling interest in their seven
Illinois stations to their children Douglas Nelson and Jennifer Beckman in
exchange for control of WSPY TV Inc., the licensee of 96.9 W245CE Morris
IL. Douglas Nelson and Jennifer Beckman will gain control of Dekalb County
Broadcasters Oldies 1180 WSCR Sycamore and News/Talk 1360 WLBK Dekalb,
Grundy County Broadcasters AC 95.7 WJDK-FM Seneca, and Classic Hits
simulcast 1550 WCSJ/103.1 WCSJ-FM Morris, Nelson Enterprises AC 107.1
WSPY-FM Plano, and Nelson Multi-Media Standards 1480 WSPY Geneva.

Super Waves LLC sells Silent 94.1 WLZT Worthington IN to Mid-America Radio
Group for $70,000.

Monte Spearmans High Plains Radio Network acquires Lake Country Radios
Country 95.9 KCKL Malakoff and Christian AC 1410 KLVQ/94.5 K233BE Athens TX
for $250,000.

High Plains Radio Network also purchases Pilgrim Communications Silent 1450
KSKE Buena Vista CO for $35,000.

Johnson Broadcast Ventures sells Gospel 1230 WCBT Roanoke Rapids NC to
Jimmie Bells Bell Media Broadcasting for $150,000.

The previously announced donation of Catholic 91.9 WSMJ North Wildwood NJ
to Domestic Church Media was filed with the FCC. Domestic Church Media will
operate WSMJ as a satellite of Catholic 1260 WFJS Trenton.

Rochelle Broadcasting Company flipped News/Talk 1060 WRHL Rochelle IL to
Oldies Good Time Oldies 1060 on Wednesday.

The station is retaining its news elements including its full service
morning show hosted by Jeff Leon and news at the top and bottom of each
hour. WRHL will also continue to carry Chicago Bears, Bulls, and White Sox
games.

Rochelle Broadcasting Company also owns Country 102.3 The Coyote WYOT in
Rochelle.
