Third Outreach International Radio Fair:

Report by Odisha Diary bureau, Bhubaneswar : On the occasion of World Radio
Day the radio lovers are organising different programmes at different
places of world. Likewise, Outreach is also organising International Radio
Fair in Bhubaneswar which has become popular day by day. UNESCO has praised
the fair and described as an example for radio activists in international
level. This year the radio fair will be organised in a bigger way. This
event will be held on 12th February to 14th February at unit 3 Exhibition
ground. Along with the eminent radio presenter cum Bollywood actor Anu
Kapoor many radio stars will join the event. Different international and
national radio stations, famous RJs, listeners are also participating in
this event. In this event 1500 old radio sets, gramophone record and many
more will be exhibited in this event. Operators from Kolkata will show the
use and techniques of Ham radio. OSDMA is also making a ham radio stall.
The Dxing experts are coming from West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Bihar to
share their experience on shortwave listening. Along with these, there will
be a sand art in the event. There will be a food court for refreshment of
visitors.

Consultation on RSGB Futu

Lots of people have views on what the RSGB should or should not do. Here is
your chance to have your say. The RSGB Board has been working with strategy
expert Chris Deacon, G4IFX, the Leadership Team and Headquarters staff to
develop a strategy for the next five years. That work has been boiled down
into a one-page document with a narrative to explain the context and
background. We would now like your views.
