I am trying to get on the air so John and I tired a contact again and I
could hear my call de VE7JBX and then the signal dropped away and not much
was readable after that. I put my amp on and went to 300 watts and called
CQ and 2 signals came back at once and noise. As bad as I am I didn’t know

This is an over-the-air recorded test of the ICOM 7300s stock microphone --
the HM-219, at a distance of 4,800 miles (7727 km), on the 20 meter band.



Although not a fully scientific or comprehensive test -- various Bass,
Treble, Bandwidth, and Compression settings are heard. I sought to
highlight the excellent job ICOM has done to provide a decent-sounding

HamCation 2017 At The Alpha Antenna Booth First Day 2-10-2017

Today we are at HamCation 2017 on opening day. We are at the Alpha Antenna
booth #61-62 doing a meet and greet with alpha antenna and Powerfilm
Solar. HamCation We had a great first day. I did an interview with Gordon
West and had a fun time with Hope Lea KM4IPF who is the youngest ham radio
operator in the country at 10 years of age. Her younger sister Grace Lea
KM4TXT who is a technician ham radio operator upgraded to general class

Land Ops ARC finds aircraft crash site

Non-profit video featuring Land Ops ARC. The search teams of Land Ops ARC
(adventure radio club) set out and find a military aircraft crash site from
the past. Two Phantom F4 fighters collided in mid-air during a training
mission over the California desert over four and a half decades ago.
