Anybody have any thoughts on the easiest way to get the 12BY7 out of the
TS-820s? I want to change it. The tube shield is connected to the board,

Looks like I need to remove the Plate control coupling shaft to get it out
(and desolder the wire going to the RF unit)?

This sound right? I just want to make sure I am not making an easy job
more...
