Two of the three were identified as Randy Yarnall and Kelley Williamson , not sure if either were hams. Tornadoes had been reported nearby at the time of the crash and heavy rain had been reported in the area, according to the National Weather Service. According to the Texas Highway Patrol, one vehicle apparently ran a stop sign at the intersection near the town of Spur,... The call went out by the Red Cross and the Hawaii Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster, VOAD, to the ARRL Pacific Section Manager.
