I exhort you to realize, though, that things have changed a lot in the ham radio hobby in 25 years. (Perhaps not as much in the UK as the US; perhaps even more.) So just don't expect it to be the same as it was 25 years ago. If I could remember that far back, hi hi. I am coming to it with an open mind and cannot wait. Less than 3 days to 'key down' time.
