Default Unexpected sighting of Morse code

Yesterday I was in the new Lab 126 building in Sunnyvale, California.
(Lab 126 is the division of Amazon that designs Kindle products.) As
I stepped out of the elevator on the fifth floor, I noticed some dots
and dashes painted on the floor of two hallways. One hallway had:

.-.. .- -...
.---- ..--- -....

And the other had:

.....

When I got back to the first floor, I noticed a hallway that had:

.----

So I assume that every floor has its number represented. I don't
know whether every floor also has "Lab 126" somewhere; I didn't
see it on the first floor.

Cute. :-)

I'm hoping to track down the story of how this came about...
