Xmas movie, Die Hard, an archetypal analysis

Prompted by a mention of “Die Hard� as a classic Christmas movie, we
watched it again on Christmas night. The 1988 action movie it holds up
really well and I recognise many of the action sequences that have been
replicated in later movies. Jumping off a ledge held by a fire hose turns
up in both The Matrix and again in Atomic Blond.
