I used it in my car for about a year and received feedback the transmit audio level was low. I would all but yell directly into the mic. I did the mod with opening up the mic hole with minimal results. I contacted BTECH hoping to get an answer but no luck. I opened up the radio and there are two trim pots on the board. In my Alinco 220 radio, I had to open it up and dial down the transmit audio because it was... I am mobile btw.... Everything has been working great, but now there is an issue. When tuning the antenna I use around 10w using rtty and the radios swr meter . I get my antenna matched 1:1 and then I increase power to the level I drive my amp with 30w-40w, Then I check swr again using rtty and Im good. Now I switch on the amp, and check swrs again via the remote meter using... IC-7100 low power output on ssb NOT THE MOD QUESTION |
