Default CW shines during Six Meter auroral opening...

Some were operating SSB today but much of the 6m auroral activity
brought on by
today's massive solar flare, was conducted using CW. Some SSB signals
were so
severely distorted by aurora that callsigns could not be copied. It
was much easier to
complete a QSO using CW.

The auroral activity is still going on as this is written at 0307Z.

Do your eloquent words sum up your views on the use of CW during a VHF
auroral opening?
