I suspect those of us 50+ will not "fall in love" in with them, but hey,
that is the price of progress ...

At least it should be easier to find someone using a computer and a real
(such as audio communications in a modified mp3 format) digital mode on
the bands!

VE's will now be testing applicants for their ability to program their
cell phone interface to the car communication system, in order to assure
proper data transfer between amprnet and arpanet using AX.25B protocols
in a TCP/IP environment.

Element 1 hasn't been retired, it has been revised: it will now consist
of a test to identify buzzwords with 70% accuracy.

William

lol, nice! Thanks for the update and the (to), Will.

Hello Mopar,

Heck, the VEs will still be testing the other elements.

If the loss of CW bothers you, I can always send you something via "Morse
Mail" :))

Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas!

Hello Mopar,

Hello Jim

Heck, the VEs will still be testing the other elements.

They can use a scan card instead now right? It won't be long before the how
to color it instructions are available on google.

No worries either way with me over here Jim, Go ahead and send it anyway!
:)

Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas!

So, progress is defined as something which has less qualifications than
it used to or something which isn't quite as good as it used to be?

It might be even more of a shock for those us who aren't CBers, who have
been radio amateurs for any length of time and who are of any age.
