We'll need to develop some strategy for accommodating untested for code hams who may want to give CW a try. To help them learn the code by using it. Maybe some form of cross mode QSOs, where the beginner and an elmer can use phone, and switch to CW either on the same frequency, or onto another freq in the CW segment. Like a code class, but on the air. Or, they could simply use the tested and true method of calling CQ at the speed they are comfortable with (much simpler :-)) |
