government, military, ship to shore, and navigational use of the HF

Do you think that the FCC is actually going to allow malicious
interference to disrupt these services?

They've allowed far dumber things to happen.

Whether the ARRL is involved or not, and if the statement concerning noise
is true, it will never happen.

Never say never....

Save your BPL money and take your girl friend out for a Prime Rib dinner and
a night on the town......You'll get a hell of a lot more bang for your buck.

And if BPL IS implemented and the bands are full of noise, what are you going
to do?
