Default Looking For Handset Sources

Does anyone know of a source for the mil-spec type handsets like the
one that appears in many of the SGC ads? SGC sells them as
accessories, but for well-over $375.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Fair Radio Sales. See also
www.fairradio.com, search for "handsets"

They currently list the H-33 (PTT) handset at $17.50 plus shipping.
The H-33 was (probably) the first of the skinny military handsets that
could slide the earpiece under the helmet in use. It was common
with AN/PRC-6 to PRC-12s during the active Korean War.

The H-250 (PTT) handset is $18.00 plus shipping. The H-250 was
used with the AN/PRC-25 in Vietnam (and other places) during the
1960s to 1970s period.

The connector plug will most likely have to be changed to connect
to a PARAMILITARY SGC-2020 arrangement. [Sojer in da woods
fun and games? :-) That seems to be what SGC is advertising. ]

Fair also has the PRC-25 Accessory Kit for $69.50. This includes the
H-250, the AT-892 ribbon antenna and AT-271 telescoping antenna, all
in the CW-503 carrying bag. All could be used with a 2020 along with
one of SGC's automatic antenna tuners.

Great post up to here, and the information is truly appreciated.

Acutally I want it for base station operatins in a high noise
enviroment, but one where wearing a headset is impractical.

Usual "dissing" of "sojer in da woods" and alleged paramilitary
activities noted. I am unable to speak for SGC's intent.
