If it is not important to Larry, it isn't important to the ARS. If it is important to Larry, then any ham that doesn't measure up, somehow isn't a real ham. It never occurred to him that many many hams are also professionals, and if we measured him by the same standard, he'd get laughed out of the club meeting. But in fact very few hams who are pro's in the business think that hams are measured the way Larry does.
