that actually happened here locally in my ham
community a few years ago.... one ham was SO mad at another ham that he went and cut the fellows coax with a pair of wire cutters. things got pretty nasty for a while. Clint KB5ZHT "Ryan, KC8PMX" wrote in message ... Yes, it is vandalism, but a simple needle or pin placed directly in the coax usually does the trick from what I hear. Or take some wire cutters, and clip the wire, connect the shielding and center conductor of the coax together and tape both ends back together with black electrical tape would do the trick as well. Granted, not legal and probably not ethical either, but the techniques would work in making it a little "quieter." -- Top nations that fund UN treasury, in descending order... United States: 22% Japan: 19.6% Germany: 9.8% France: 6.5% UK: 5.6% Italy 5.1% Canada: 2.6% Spain: 2.5% Russia isn't even in this top 8 list. France, Russia and Germany, COMBINED, do not contribute as much to the UN as does the United States...... -- |
